Getting approved by Google AdSense is still a mystery to many bloggers who have applied and have been disapproved. Often times you see bloggers posting different tips and tricks on how to apply for AdSense for instantly approval well that doesn’t work well for everyone.

I have read a lot of tips on the web for getting approval from Google AdSense and I have noted carefully what a blogger should do before applying for AdSense. Harsh Agrawal says it’s easier to get approved with a custom domain name, others have same reports.

This has made me decide to write on how to use a domain specific email address to apply for Google AdSense. Chances of getting approved using a custom domain email is higher because most bloggers who got approved easily recommends using a custom domain name.

If you have a custom domain name such as .com, .net, then you can create a free domain specific email address for your blog such as John(@)bloggingprince(.)com. You can do this for free using Zoho Mail.

After creating your domain email address, all that is left to do is to apply for Google AdSense. Hopefully, you have also checked your blog for obedience to AdSense approval policies which include:

  1. Having pages with sufficient content (800+)
  2. Posts are written in one of the approved languages
  3. Not having prohibited contents on your blog such as pornography etc.
  4. Having important pages e.g About us, Privacy, Contact, Disclaimer etc.
  5. Domain should be at least 6months Old (some bloggers call this a myth)
  6. No copied or copyright contents
  7. Clear page navigation etc.
There are so many of them and if you want to get approved easily you should try to obey all these policies made by AdSense. They want the best publishers for their advertisers and you should try to improve your blog content before you can get on the list of AdSense publishers.

How to apply for Google Adsense with Domain Specific email address

AdSense is a product of Google and all Google products are only accessed with a Gmail account. Which means in other to apply for AdSense you need to have an active Gmail account. But this time we are making use of a custom email address.

Therefore we need to first create a Gmail account using our domain specific email address. This will allow us to use Google products with a personalized email address.

  4. Google Site
  5. Google social media etc.
All these products are free and can be accessed after creating a free Gmail account using your custom domain name.

In the box for Email Address, You would see “I prefer to use my current email address” beneath it. Now click it and fill in your domain specific email address in the new box. submit the application after filling in other details.

Google will send a verification code to the email address. Go to your mailbox and verify your email and your account will be fully active.
Now you can apply for Google AdSense using your domain specific email address.

Step 1
Go to https://www.google.com/adsense/start/ >> locate and click “Sign Up”

Step 2
Type in your domain specific email address and password to continue.
Step 3
On this page, you will be requested to type in your website URL, your house address, telephone number, country, state etc. Fill the boxes and apply for Google AdSense.

Properly Add Google AdSense Code To Blogger.

At this point, you should be face to face with your Google AdSense approval code. In case you don’t know what to do, follow the below steps to add your AdSense code to blogger.
  1. Go to blogger.com >> Theme >> Edit HTML.
  2. Search for <head> using CTRL + F (Windows)
  3. Paste the copied code just below the <head> tag.
  4. It will show error. Now replace async with async=”async” and save.
Go back to your AdSense dashboard and click I have added this code to my website. After following the above procedures, wait for a few hours/days AdSense will send you a mail confirming your approval or disapproval.
